Trans Slovenija – Winter edition

Start: Rateče, thursday, February 11, 2010, at 8:00 AM

Finish: Obrežje, sunday, February 14, 2010, at 3:00 PM

Necessary equipment: mobile phone, GPS tracker (provided by organiser) and reflection suit (provided by organiser)

Stage 1: Rateče – Naklo (60 km) – 9 hour limit – GPS route

Stage 2: Naklo – Zg. Hotič (55 km) – 8 hour limit – GPS route

Stage 3: Zg. Hotič – Sevnica (58 km) – 9 hour limit – GPS route dry road, GPS route slippery road

Stage 4: Sevnica – Obrežje (34 km) – 6 hour limit – GPS route

Stages in detail.

Start is every day at 8:00 AM.

The organiser provides at least two water stations on every stage.

Stage course is visible from maps and GPS data. There will be directional arrows on every crossroad. Only permitted means of progress are walking and running. The organiser will make unannounced checks on all entrants during the marathon and all runners breaking the rules will be disqualified.

Prizes: All participants receive T-shirt and a a practical prize, marathon finishers also receive certificate and a Finisher T-shirt at the finish line.

Categories: only one category (male and female).

Entrance fees:

• 200€ for applications received before 27.01.2010
• 250€ for applications received between 28.01.2010 and 07.02.2010
• 80€ for applications received before 27.01.2010 if the entrant is organizing their own overnight sleeping and transportation to the start and from the finish line.
• 100€ for applications received between 28.01.2010 and 07.02.2010 if the entrant is organizing their own overnight sleeping and transportation to the start and from the finish line.

Applications are no longer possible after 07.02.2010.

Entrance fee contains:

• pasta party and accommodation before the start on February 10, 2010
• dinner and accommodation on the finish of every stage except for the last stage
• transport from Ljubljana (or Jože Pučnik airport) to start on February 10, 2010
• transport of equipment from start to control stations and to the finish of every stage
• transport from Obrežje to Ljubljana (or Jože Pučnik airport)

Fee refund because of injury or any other reason:

• cancellation before 10.01.2010 – 90% refund
• cancellation before 01.02.2010 – 50% refund
• cancellation after 02.02.2010 – no refund vrača
